Replacing unsupported Paracel hardware with DeCypher

Still relying on equipment from Paracel? Support for GeneMatcher and BlastMachine systems expired in September 2005, which leaves your critical pipelines at risk. DeCypher combines the functionality of both GeneMatcher and BlastMachine solutions into one solution.

An independent comparison from the University of Calgary Center for Visual Genomics demonstrates that one Sun server with four G3-series DeCypher Engines runs Profilesearch 6.25x faster than a fully loaded Paracel GeneMatcher2. With 4 DeCypher Engine G4 boards, the DeCypher system is 11x faster than the GeneMatcher2.
