Account Manager, TimeLogic® - Europe

Active Motif is presently looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented sales person, who has a solid base of contacts in pharma and biotech to promote the TimeLogic biocomputing solutions in Europe. The candidate will manage sales processes in accordance with approved sales and marketing goals. The successful candidate will understand and utilize product features, benefits, and applications, and use selling and business building skills to successfully promote the sale of products and services. 

Responsibilities for this position also include consistently achieving or exceeding the sales plan by maintaining existing accounts, developing new accounts, and driving growth. The candidate must demonstrate clear software product/technology expertise to serve as a field-based expert for the product. 

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry or related scientific field, or the equivalent knowledge and industry/functional experience, is required.
  M.S. or Ph.D. degree is desirable.
• At least 2 years experience selling scientific software or informatics hardware systems to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life science institutions.
• Strong relationship building ability, prospecting skills, and closing proficiency.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially presentation ability.
• Willingness to travel 30 to 40%.
